Another illustration for a childrens book. These were done in photoshop using more drawing techniques then paintings .

I think, his single eyeball is about to be severelly damaged and even came out (I mean, inner liquid to float away) after first arrow hit. It's quite unbelievable, that he could see and attack with three thick arrows in his vulnerable eyeball. :)

Please reprimand me if I'm talking out of turn, but I reckon the cyclops would be squinting in horrible pain rather than having his eye open. My pet rat once bit a my eye and I could not physically open it for like a half-hour due to the pain.

he's a tough ole cyclops, he gets arrows in his eyes all the time. Goblins are always messing with him, like those Messing with sasquatch commercials.
