I believe that the obvious response to this is to RUN! 'Cause that little pig-sticker doesn't look like it'll do much against those scorpion-things.

Possibly, but why waste a wish to get away from monsters when his legs will do the job just as effectively? Besides, anyone who's ever played AD&D knows that you never make a wish without thinking it through very, very carefully. ;P Loopholes are a killer.

about 3-4 days of painting and a week with sketches etc.

Wow. It shows! :)
I love the lighting, as well as the depth in the image (I totally missed the castle-looking structure in the background until my 2nd or third look at the image). Also, the smoke/fog effect does wonders in setting the tone and mood of the image. I'm taking notes. :P
