Art for The Sword of Darrow by TARGETE Art for The Sword of Darrow by TARGETE
This is one of the many BW interior illustrations I created for the children's novel "The Sword of Darrow" written by father and son Hal and Alex Malchow. The book is available for preorder at amazon
[link]

The book is published by Benbella books. I also created the cover art along all the BW interior art. This project took a few months to complete but was an amazingly fun project to work on, and I hope you get to check it out as it's a great read.

Lovely image!

Did you use any 3D tools for the architecture?

excellent contrast, mood, perspective (both vanishing point as well as atmospheric) and lighting. The minute details are just fantastic. I stopped to write this but I need to finish looking at your piece. Good Job!

is it me or does the perspective almost Fish eye as you get closer to the edge of the art? Very cool and subtle if it does. or even if it doesnt :)
